As the COVID-19 (CoronaVirus) continues to progress and move around the world, some events will be impacted or cancelled in our area. We encourage you to have discussions with your clients about cancellations to allow us all to forecast needs more effectively.
As you might imagine, Pikes Peak cannot solely accept responsibility for cancelled orders. Depending on the demands from our suppliers, and on the nature and quantity of flowers needed, we may require a deposit on your event orders. As always, Pikes Peak will try its best to help you in any way that we can in the event of a cancellation.
We will accept your cancellations without question if your event is cancelled no later than 14 days prior to your expected delivery. This lead time is designed to give Pikes Peak time to place your flowers with another customer.
We continue to hope the virus will not be as serious as predicted and will have a small impact on our industry. Preparing and planning ahead will help mitigate any negative outcomes for all of us.
